The Knights of Morcia are locked in pitched battle with the evil Vladek and his nefarious marauding forces who are trying to control the kingdom. But in this sprawling, expansive 967-piece set from Lego, the Knights are taking the battle right to Vladek’s house, seeking to defeat him right there at his enormous fortress. The set includes a multitude of swords, shields, battle axes, and other weapons for Sir Rascus, Sir Jayko, Sir Danju, and Sir Santis to use as they take on Vladek and his crew, all of whom are represented by tiny Lego guys who, as always, look more cute than fierce. The fortress is equipped with spring-loaded missiles, a catapult, and even a vat of fake boiling oil. Plus, there’s a scary dungeon with skeletons and pretend spider webs.

LEGO Castle of Morcia Play Set
LEGO Castle of Morcia Play Set
The Castle of Morcia was a nice enough place when it was presided over by a kind and benevolent king but it just hasnt been the same since Vladek, the evil scorpion emblazoned villain of LEGOs medieval storyline, took over the place. Now its up to the assortment of good knights to recapture the castle. This set of building bricks from LEGO features numerous tunnels, secret passages, and traps. Also included are small figures of the King of Morcia and all five knights. Of course since this is a LEGO set, the pieces are infinitely interchangeable, so long after youve followed the prescribed illustrated step-by-step plan to construct the castle, youre free to imagine and build an infinite variety of new configurations.
